Gnubees Supporting Lakeside 5K

On Sunday, March 22, 2026, runners and walkers gathered at Trout Lake Park in Vancouver for the first-ever Lakeside 5K, a community event focused on movement, connection, and impact.

Gnubees was proud to support the race by providing refreshments for participants at the finish line. We love to help everyone feel a little more energized, hydrated, and celebrated as they crossed the finish line. Our Strawberry Wise flavour from Gnubees Plus was given to all participants.  

After the event, race director Danielle shared this note with our team:

“We sincerely thank you for supporting our inaugural Lakeside 5K at Trout Lake Park… Thanks to your generous donation of refreshments, the overall event experience was that much more enjoyable for all of our runners and walkers. With the incredible support of our community, including partners like you, we’re happy to share that $1,150 in proceeds was donated to Street Saviours Outreach Society.”

Impact like this is such an important part of the GnuSanté brand and our people. 
We get to not only support the racers, but also be a part of the trickle effect to do good in the community.

Street Saviours Outreach Society is a grassroots, all-volunteer organization providing front-line outreach and support in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Knowing that the energy at the park translated directly into tangible support for their work is impact we’re proud to stand behind.

We’re grateful to Danielle and the Lakeside 5K organizing team for inviting GnuSanté in as a partner, and to every participant, volunteer, and supporter who helped bring this event to life.
