Movember - APersonal Share from our Founder

It's November, which means MOVEMBER - a month that really hits home for us here a GnuSanté. It was just a couple years ago that our very own company co-founder, Ron Kendrick was diagnosed with prostate cancer.  We are happy to say that he is in remission and doing very well. This month always makes us take a moment and give pause to how lucky we are. And as we start this month we wanted to share some words from him and his experience.

Words from Ron:

Cancer is such an ugly word. It’s shock value is even higher when you hear the words “I am afraid you have cancer”. Those words are the portal to your up close and personal journey with the disease. A scary and darkly intimate journey that is not limited to us as individuals but also includes our loved ones. As a survivor of this prostate cancer journey, I am so very thankful for the compassionate dedication of the medical teams and researchers in leading the battle against this life threatening disease. They have made not only survival possible, but have also improved the quality of our post-treatment life!

However this research, treatment and care is not possible without our financial support. I encourage each and every one of us to understand that we make a positive difference in the lives of every cancer patient when we donate to fighting this disease. In Movember we raise awareness for prostate cancer in particular. Please consider donating to the fight. For our part we will donate 15% of our profits from Movember orders to supporting this fight.

We wish everyone good health in your everyday!

- Ron
